How can an understanding of the sacral chakra help you to really improve your health and wellbeing? The swadhisthana chakra is strongly linked to pleasures and desires. Are you curious?
Do you have challenges with any of the following... Stuck in your ways...writers' block...feeling emotionally numb...restlessness...kidney problems...bladder problems...lower back aches and pains...mood swings...physical relationship disinterest or the opposite...general difficulty relating to other people...very resistant to life's changes...at the mercy of some sort of addiction (which might include obsessive behaviour such as buying "stuff", hoarding "stuff" and so on... No? Fantastic!... your sacral chakra is probably in great balance!

 Yogic tips to positively impact our wellbeing
     What is a CHAKRA?    A chakra is a sanskrit word meaning "wheel" and chakras are a very important part of our subtle or energy body. Interestingly, in the yogic model of the energy body also parallels in the taoist model.  In yoga we talk about ‘prana’ while in TCM they call it ‘chi’.  This prana or life force travels through our ‘nadis’ or meridians and the chakras are the major energy centres which rotate or spin with the flow of this life force.  This flow of prana enables us to function at our optimum level physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. As I reflect upon the experiences and lessons learned from the past year and prepare for new year and it's opportunities, I like to create a vision board to help me focus and create direction in my life... I first read about vision boards in a book called ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne and I have adapted that process to produce a succession of digital visions over the last few years which can either be printed out and pinned up on the wall or which can be created as a  wallpaper on various devices.  Once I started to create a vision board for myself, I realised what a powerful tool it is for manifesting my plans and dreams, for creating my chosen reality.
