I wanted to let you know how much I am loving and learning from the Gita on-line course. It is my Godsend, and such a beautiful way to start the day reading from this source of wisdom and insight.
I have been committed to my personal growth for many years and I think this course tops the lot! I find the daily reflections also help me to take the Gita's wisdom into every day life.

Receiving the Dru Bhagavad Gita Correspondence course each month was like the visit of a dear and wise friend.
I looked forward to sitting with a cup of tea and reading the latest teachings.
My month would then be filled with insights and ah- ha moments as I reflected on my life, events and how the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita is as relevant today as always.
I encourage you to invite this wise friend into your home and heart.

The discussion and questions have helped me to relate the words in the Gita to my own life experiences and I don't think I would understand the teachings in the same way without the Gita course.

The Bhagavad Gita correspondence course was a monthly workbook broken into weekly assignments.
I found that it was possible to take longer when necessary when a particular thought provoking Sloka gave me a wonderful insight.
Whenever there was a day or time that I felt stuck with my life I always opened the page of the Gita that showed me what was really important in my journey.

The course provides a comprehensive toolkit for living my life to the fullest with real joy, for reaching my potential and for understanding myself and my fellow human beings.
Imagine how we would live our lives if we constantly reminded ourselves that the person in front of us is "God", and that in fact we are also "God". This is such an awesome way to perceive our daily life.

What did you like about the course?
The course provided me with a structured framework to work within. The format correlates each chapter to a calendar month, and then each section within a chapter correlates to a calendar week. I decided to set aside a specific day and time each week to read and ponder the next section (Saturday afternoon). Establishing this routine meant that I was able to digest this vast treasure house of wisdom in bite size chunks. This kept me on track and hence I was able to complete the entire course within the 18 month timeframe.

Did you have any special experiences with the course - perhaps a sudden insight or technique that made a real difference to your life?

Mahatma Gandhi called the Gita his "spiritual dictionary". He read and contemplated the Gita every day, and turned to it in times of doubt and sorrow and always found solace. The Gita's emphasis on selfless service was also a prime source of inspiration for Gandhi.

In Chapter 10, Slokas 8, 9, 10 and 11 Krishna says: "I am the source of everything. All creation emerges from Me. The wise understand this and worship Me with all their hearts." (10.8)
"Their thoughts absorbed in Me, their lives surrendered to Me, always talking about Me and enlightening one another, My devotees are contented and fulfilled." (10.9)
"To those who are constantly devoted, who worship Me with love, I give spiritual wisdom, through which they can come to Me." (10.10)
"Out of pure compassion I, dwelling in their hearts, destroy the darkness of their ignorance by lighting the great lamp of wisdom from within." (10.11).

These four slokas remind me that devotion to God destroys our ignorance and enables us to access our internal wisdom. The next logical thought is that we all have God within us. The next logical thought then is that everyone we come across in our day is "God".

Imagine how we would live our lives if we constantly reminded ourselves that the person in front of us is "God", and that in fact we are also "God". This is such an awesome way to perceive our daily life.
