I liked the gradual building of positions into a sequence, so that you felt you had mastered each position before it became a sequence, which was very relaxing and confidence building.The workshop overall was friendly and welcoming, whatever level you are, whether you are a beginner or teacher. The practices have affected me, some very deeply, in a way that feels more certain and deep than anything else I've done; awakening new awareness but also drawing me back to long held understandings that had slipped from my life. Most of all, at this time in my life, in the world, it has helped to experience deep stillness and steadiness, with a renewed compassion for my self as well as others.
On a practical level, the online course fits in easily with daily life, with a balance of learning, practice and space to absorb one thing before moving on. The videos are all there to go over as many times as needed - and also to return to the energy of the live sessions.
The support throughout is amazing, steady, generous and infused with love, joy and a lot of laughter! It's been wonderful to feel closer to our amazing tutors and the wider community on the course. Knowing the benefits that Dru Yoga had for me, I then went on to teach both Dru Yoga and Meditation, I found that Dru Meditation took my practice to another level, I became a much calmer person, slept better, my outlook on life changed, my love for nature increased, what I found astounding was when I began teaching meditation, was watching, over the course of time the wonderful changes in people, it was almost like they were blossoming !

The Advanced Practioner course has dramatically increased my awareness of the impact of movement and postures at each of the kosha levels. My practice is now much richer. I have a new toolkit to manage life's challenges. I am much more aware of the koshas in everyday life and have become a witness of reaction, behaviours and motivations. I know have a choice whether to accept these changes or redesign them if necessary.
As a yoga teacher, the course has developed my skills in using language to enrich the practice for students.
