We had a really great day yesterday.  The mixture of yoga, relaxation, cooking demonstrations and eating was just right.  It has left me wanting to know more about doshas and how yoga and food can balance someone.  We also loved the partner poses, beautiful and fun.

The Dru yoga teacher training is so much more than learning how to teach yoga! Is is an entire personal development system that helps you find peace in yourself and in a crazy and chaotic world. Love yourself enough to do it!

I have been doing Dru yoga along with my husband Alan Inglis for a number of years now and go to his classes. I have to say that Dru helped me get my strength and walking ability back after a very severe illness. I am a true fan.

“Incredible what a difference a week on a Dru Yoga retreat can do. Just experience it. Words cannot describe it.”

I didn't know what to expect from this course but found that it fitted me perfectly. Although I love coming up to Wales, having the sessions in the comfort of my own home with the videos to watch again and again was a great substitute.  Just a shame I can't get anyone to cook all the wonderful vegetarian food for me!
I loved the outside session with Annie and Radha and I particularly liked Andrew's meditations, I managed to ground myself deeper than I ever have before.  The tutor groups were really good and I like being part of a sangha!  I think it would be great if you offered some courses like this in future, when everything has sorted itself out, it was amazing that you had people from all over the world joining in

It has helped me to explore all aspects of myself. The course has taught me to slow down, observe and witness as I move, breathe and live. It has brought awareness to my true nature, feelings, thoughts and intentions.
It taught me to be kind to myself. The prana work brought attention to health concerns in a startling way. It then led the way in my healing, knowing that all is truly well – thank you!
As a teacher, I have become more aware on many levels of a person’s struggles, difficulties and of course their wellness and awesomeness!

My experience of Dru and yoga had been limited to one wonderful walking and yoga retreat at the Nation Centre in Snowdonia the previous year. My isolation during lockdown led me, for exercise reasons, to the Dru online studio recommended by a friend and my life was transformed when I immersed myself in the many workshops, talks and classes they were providing live over the period. I came to "know" the wonderful teachers. When the spirituality of yoga course was offered, I jumped at the chance. It was the most beautiful, uplifting and sustaining experience I have ever had. My only regret was that it only lasted 21 days which did not give me the chance to really get to know any of the 200 other participants from all over the world. My heart leapt when a chance to be part of the community as a Sangha over the next 11 months was offered.  Thank you Dru team. You are very special wonderful people.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the Spirituality of Yoga course, but so far it has surpassed anything I could have imagined,  I've always been in touch with nature but this course has given it an added dimension, I'm beginning to feel more at peace with myself and I'm looking forward to the rest of the journey

In the Spirituality of Yoga course I have learned to intensify my yoga practice, find Dru points and learn beautiful sequences that amongst others help my meditation to flow. About my meditation, well.. I did try to do regularly in the past, but after this course I even like to sit down more often and so I also intensified, still intensify, my meditation. And doing all that I have a lighter heart during the days "off the mat".

This Spirituality of Yoga course brought me back to my deeper self, and allowed me to feel entirely connected. Not only to those in this Sangha, but also to nature, consciousness, all people and living things. The sequences brought through some profound wisdom and old patterns that I needed to change. I loved the format and the frequency of attendance. Such a gorgeous blessing to have come out of an isolated lockdown situation. I’m looking forward to the next chapter, it has relit my fire for sacred texts and other aspects I have allowed to slip. I feel I am now deeply back on the path I have always meant to be on, and as a result my life feels much richer.

The course has helped me to integrate my practice into daily life - it has helped me to feel more relaxed about my experiences. I am able to now take my yoga off the mat by developing awareness on physical, pranic, emotional/motivational and knowings. I now feel I'm piecing together a toolkit to use in daily life; be it simply being able to witness something or in being able to do something to shift it.
As a yoga teacher I have been able to guide individual students on a one to one basis to help them remove some quite deep rooted blocks!

I liked the warm-up - the twist, my era! It was a good venue; comfortable and nice choice of refreshments. The workshop was lovely, gentle and supportive. Reaffirms why I love yoga.

My experience of the Spirituality of Yoga course is that it reminds me of who I am. By remembering. By the examples of the teachers. In a way profound and simple at the same time. Also joyful and deep. It helped me to ease and to be more conscious during the day. About my thoughts, feelings, good etc. A kind of reset and go on again. I am grateful for that and it helps me to trust my inner life/voice more and more.

I liked the gradual building of positions into a sequence, so that you felt you had mastered each position before it became a sequence, which was very relaxing and confidence building. The workshop overall was friendly and welcoming, whatever level you are, whether you are a beginner or teacher. I was able to achieve positions I previously hadn't been able to because of the slow, precise instruction.

This course has really changed me. I feel more confident and it has started me on a much more spiritual path in life. My self-esteem has improved and continues to with each module.
Dru Yoga is very special, beautiful and powerful on all levels

Taking this course has helped me to find balance and harmony in my life. No longer buffeted by the opinions and behaviour of others, I have been able to find my true self and be guided by achieving my true self in my actions, feelings, words and thoughts. This has brought me resilience. I like myself (me) far more. This light is shining and I know it is affecting others in a positive way. Don't look externally for what you desire, the answer lies by looking within. This course will give you that.

Alison Hayward

Dru yoga teacher. Devon
The Spirituality of Yoga course has been particularly helpful to me in anchoring my morning wellbeing practice.  I had already started doing a short morning walk in nature, but this now involves me walking barefoot on the grass for part of my walk, and being able to do some yoga outdoors in what has become my sacred space.  This has lifted my mood and I find that I am in a more contented state than previously. Even if there are just little things that I might do some days, such as lighting the candle before I do my practice, selecting a vision card and pausing at odd moments through the day, these small actions are very beneficial and enable me to be not so hard on myself.  I am steadily reviewing the videos but not rushing this process as it takes time for these practices to be understood and appreciated.  Having the ability to watch the sessions repeatedly is tremendously helpful in embedding the learning.   I am enjoying the process of this learning, knowing that I can approach this in a relaxed way and pick out a different session each week or so to review and practice.  I have appreciated the structure of this course being over 3 weeks, where we were able to practice the learning from each session in-between.   It has avoided feelings of being overwhelmed with the amount of content and therefore not really taking anything in because I don't know where to start. There is much more for me to do with the practice that we have been introduced to and this will take some time and it will require some courage and exploration outside my comfort zone, but that is ok.  I know that I can seek help with this as and when I need to.
